In commemoration of the voices drowned by war, Aria Drama & Voice moves forward with My Father’s War. In this program, Aria trainees will perform and record the stories and memories of those affected by generational war trauma. We hope not only to share your stories with the world, but also to instill strength and humility in our trainees. As they learn with us, they will remember that their voices are not just for entertainment—they can uplift and empower those who cannot be heard.
The founder and principal director, Pyne K., invites his Myanmar kinsfolk to share their stories first. He knows this cannot undo the suffering of his people, but it is a step toward healing broken hearts and shattered dreams.
In the future, we hope to extend our efforts to other groups struggling with generational war trauma. Please visit ariadv.com to hear more from us.
Thank you for reading and considering our invitation to share your struggles with us.
